Thank you for your Interest in Hunter Ceiling Fans. By now Im sure you know about the 50 year motor guarantee and the fact that Hunter are the quietest and most wobble-free fans to be built but what about us?
The Hunter name is the 6th most widely recognised brand in the US but are not well known here in Europe. Anyone visiting the US cannot have failed to notice their presence in most restaurants and homes.
They were first imported and sold in the UK by DJ Lighting in 2001. Interest and awareness have steadily grown and they became the sole UK distributor. In December 2005 we bought the fan business allowing DJ to focus on their lighting business. We are now widely recognised as the UK's leading supplier of premium-end quality ceiling fans.
We have invested heavily in new stock and now have over £1m of Hunter fan stock in our warehouse. We have had great success in raising awareness of Hunter with a national PR and advertising campaign last year which continues this year. We are now stocked by amongst others Harrods , The Conran shop and have been featured this summer in many national newspapers.
As a premium priced product we understand that our customers expect a premium service. We have therefore invested in expanding the team and now have 4 sales staff and 3 office staff dealing with orders and queries. Our aim is always to provide you with a fast and excellent service. I would like to express my appreciation of the excellent Customer Service that I have recently received from The American Fan Company.
I reported a noisy fan motor on Friday 3rd August. A new fan assembly arrived on Monday 6th August. I asked for a Balancing Kit on Tuesday 7th August which arrived on Wednesday 8th August. The defective fan was also collected on Wednesday 8th August.
This Customer Service was way beyond my expectations. Please convey my appreciation to Niki, Kat and anyone else who was involved in this extremely efficient operation.

Dear Niki, An electrician vesting our home to quote for electrical work noticed that we were having a conservatory built in 2004. He asked if we were going to have a fan installed, we said yes, we have been looking around shops and DIY centre. The electrician said that we should buy Hunter Fans, they are the best fans in the world. He told us to look for you on the Internet where we found your company website. I spoke to someone who was very helpful and we purchased two fans. We have a large conservatory and wanted to furnish it with good light fittings. The Hunter Fans that we decided to purchase blends in with Art Deco up lighters.

Thank you very much for the rapid response to my telephone call last Thursday saying that only one remote control had been included in my order. I am most impressed with the speed and the acceptance of the fact that I should have opened the packages when they were delivered rather than waiting for the electrician to come. I am very happy with the fans, which are quiet and efficient and live up to the claims made for them.
I would also like to comment on the helpful advice I received when I rang up to order; it makes such a change to speak to people who know their products and can give authoritive guidance and help and it was a pleasure to speak to your member of staff.
