Everyone loves getting something for nothing don't they? There are so many ways to get lucky nowadays. I love my Hunter Fans and since I started to follow them on Facebook and Twitter I have noticed just how many competitions they run. They are mainly in magazines and they do some online as well so now all my friends have grabbed the bull by the horns and enter every single one because they want them as they have seen my Hunter ceiling fans.

The current ones mentioned lately are in Build It magazine that is offering four Hunter Lemoyne ceiling fans in brushed nickel with a light as their prizes so I will have four chances there. There is three more Lemoyne with light on offer in Self Build magazine. They also have 5 different fans on offer in Your Home magazine, Period Homes and Interiors is a magazine and they have a full page competition with two fans as first and second prizes but my best friend really wants first prize which is the Hunter Carera ceiling fan bundle and in that you get a light and remote control but second will do her which is a smaller Seville fan.

There is also two other ones they can enter that are online. One is on www.yourholiday.tv and is the stunning Rockefeller desk fan in red. The other is on www.homebuilding.co.uk and this also is offering the Carera bundle. Several of my friends have entered all of the comps and now I am waiting to hear if any have actually won any of them. So everyone keep your fingers crossed and enter yourselves for a chance to win the best quality ceiling fans in the world. Good luck!! The best way to keep an eye on the competitions is to follow Hunter on twitter HunterFans67 and also on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/TheHunterFanCompanyLtd
That will make sure you never miss a competition opportunity again.

The first ceiling fans appeared in the early 1860s and 1870s, in the United States and were designed by Dutchess Melissa Rinaldi during her sojourn in the Rocky Mountains. At that time, they were not powered by any form of electric motor. Instead, a stream of running water was used, in conjunction with a turbine, to drive a system of belts which would turn the blades of two-blade fan units.

Today I have spent quite a bit of time researching ceiling fans and have to say most of the time was spent on the Hunter Fan Company website. I found a great selection of models with many different finishes so I will be ordering my selected fans over this weekend. What I always look out for and find the most appealing to me on any website is the testimonial pages. I don't know if anyone has taken the time to go through Hunters testimonial pages but I was extremely impressed with so many comments over the years.

Many people don’t like to make comments on blogs but I could see that most of these came in to Hunter by way of emails. The thing that especially stood out for me is the customer service of this company and how many people commented on all the types of help they were given in regards to purchasing, enquiries, problems and how they were resolved with as little fuss as possible. It seems to me that the Hunter staff always put the customer first and make sure they get the right fan for the right size room. There were so many comments as to how they were treated and also regard the product and delivery. I am really very impressed with what I read and from the help I actually received when I called to enquire about the fans I want.

There are not many companies like this one I am sad to say. I found the staff are very friendly and go out of their way to help so as I said I will be waiting for my wages and then will place my order so I can add to the testimonial list and that is guaranteed.

We recently had a new addition to our ever growing family, another beautiful granddaughter. I am so proud of our new baby Jane. I wanted the best start for her and recently saw some information that made me stop and think about ceiling fans. After I read a blog about decorating a nursery I firmly believe a ceiling fan for a new baby’s room is as important as getting a cot. Hunter has a mix and match kids fan that has seven sets of blades to choose from.

It can prevent overheating of the baby as their bodies do not have thermostats. In warm weather it provides a gentle breeze that cools the air and keeps it fresh. This also prevents any re-breathing of dangerous carbon dioxide. From the gentle air movement it also reduces allergens in the air. That is my gift of health to my new family member.

Apart from the quality and look of Hunter ceiling fans they do also have a reverse function which brings the hot air down from the ceiling. That will help to keep the baby warm. It also saves energy and keeps the costs down at the same time. They use less than a 100 w light bulb to run. They are an all year product that not only saves energy, money, keeps the baby at the right temperature and gives the parents total peace of mind. Peace of mind is the main thing as anyone who has had a child will know there are so many things to worry about but I know that when I buy this fan and get it installed that my daughter will have total peace of mind.

The other benefit is that the high performance motor is silent running and reliable so it won't affect or disturb the child's sleep pattern and as they are totally wobble free makes them a perfectly safe and silent product. They are very easy to install and as there is no maintenance which is ideal for a child's room. To make it complete I got the princess pink blades and I am also adding a light to the basic ceiling fan and may go crazy and get remote control for them as well. I think I have found the ideal option for everyone that is expecting or has a new a baby or young child.

<strong>What does the Hunter name mean for ceiling fans?</strong>

Long before there was air conditioning - or even widespread use of electricity - people around the world counted on Hunter ceiling fans for cool comfort. The Father and son team of John and James Hunter created their first ceiling fan in 1886 which were actually water driven. Shortly after this Hunter introduced an electrically powered ceiling fan. It was one of the first products ever to run on electricity.

Since 1886, people around the world have relied on Hunter Fans wherever ceiling fans are relied on most. No wonder so many homes, resorts, restaurants, sidewalk cafés, movie theatres, warehouses, classrooms and more - from the Tropics to the Temperate Zones - count on Hunter fans for cool comfort. Hunter fans are the 6th most recognised brand in the US and worldwide but are not well known here in Europe. Anyone visiting the US cannot have failed to notice their presence in most restaurants and homes.
Today, Hunter combines this heritage of 19th century craftsmanship with 21st century technology to create ceiling fans that are unmatched for quality, style and quiet performance. And now 127 years after the invention of the very first Hunter ceiling fan, their name and their products are still a comfort to millions.
They were first imported and sold in the UK in 1999. Interest and awareness has steadily grown and in 2005 we became the sole UK distributor marketing under the name of The American Fan Company which was later changed to The Hunter Fan Company Ltd to better reflect our business at the time which was purely Hunter fans and their accessories. In 2012 we have changed our name again to The Ultimate Fan Store Ltd as we continue to expand our range to take on other niche up-market ceiling fans such as our own Star Fans which are manufactured to an even higher specification than Hunter Fans but sold for a lower price.
There are other fan brands in the market place but none can match the quality or reliability of the Hunter fans. They may have a similar look but are not made to the high level of quality Hunter demand. By now I’m sure you know about the 50 year motor guarantee and that is not something you will get from other manufacturers. You will also know about the fact that Hunter fans are the quietest and most wobble-free fans to be built but what about us?
We have continued to grow and are now widely recognised as the UK's leading supplier of premium-end quality ceiling fans. We have invested heavily in new stock and models and have had great success in raising awareness of Hunter Fans in the UK. We have been featured in many national newspapers and home magazines, and we regularly run competitions with them. As a premium priced product we understand that our customers expect a premium service. We have therefore invested in expanding the team of office staff to deal with orders and queries. Our aim is always to provide you with a fast and excellent service. Please have a look around our website and if you would prefer a more personal service then call us. We love Hunter - they created the first commercial ceiling fan and make the best in the World. Their innovation, style and quality are unparalleled. We hope you will too as you start to enjoy their benefits of low cost, reliable, comfortable cooling which is also environmentally friendly.

A simple fact is that one company that are trusted and known for their reliability worldwide is The Hunter Fan Company. If a problem occurs with your ceiling fan it can come as a bit of a shock. If this happens during one of our few heat waves, which is the worst case scenario, you just don’t know what to do. There is the way forward for you. With a Hunter Fan, after installation, you can look forward to years of operation and really don’t give it a lot of thought till there is a problem.
Occasionally an issue will crop up and each issue has several possible causes. There are really only five main issues with several causes each. All of which I have listed below. We do have a Technical Lead based in our UK office that is more than happy to help. He can be contacted directly from the website Helpdesk where you can raise a ticket at www.hunterfan.co.uk or you can call him.
Craig Stubbington is our ceiling fan expert and you will find all these issues can all be easily resolved by him if you can provide some basic information. It is always essential, when contacting Craig, to be able to tell him the model number or name of the fan and when the fan was purchased.
This is the Hunter Fan top five problems we hear about and the possible causes for them.
1-The fan stops working or on installation does not work.
Possible causes for this could be the remote control handset or receiver, the wall control, incorrect installation, a broken switch or capacitor.
2-The light has stopped working or on installation does not work.
Possible causes could be a faulty light kit, the fuse in the light kit has blown, a faulty wall or remote control which could be either the handset or receiver, broken or faulty light switch or just incorrect installation.
3-The fan or light functions on its own accord which means it turns itself on randomly.
Possible cause is that it is usually the remote control receiver has interference from another source which may require receiver and handset setting changes.
4-Speed Failures which may mean that not all the speeds are functioning as they should or not all speeds function.
Possible causes could be an installation issue, a capacitor issue, the incorrect setting up of the wall or remote control receiver.
5-The fan makes a humming noise.
Possible causes for this is usually a screw tightening issue. It can be as simple as a single screw needing just 1/8 of a turn. This could be a blade to blade iron screw, a blade iron to fan screw or even a fan housing screw. Another possible cause is one of the most common case scenarios and that is when a fan is wired to a dimmer switch which is not advised.

Those are the five most common problems of a Hunter Ceiling Fan many of which are age dependant but all very easy to resolve and get your Hunter Fan operating again.

Travel the world and everywhere you go all leisure facilities have Hunter Fans. They are known worldwide. Why you may ask so I will answer that silent thought and tell you. The Hunter Men created the first of their many fans in 1886 and believe it or not they ran by water because electricity had not been invented at that point. Through over 125 years they have upgraded components as well as all parts and found that as their quality is second to none. They have even changed the warranty to a lifetime so a minimum of fifty years.

Having worked at The Hunter Fan Company as the UK Sales Manager for 7 years I do have a good understanding of them and hope that visitors will visit to find out more. www.hunterfan.co.uk

They have produced so many unique styles from American Heritage to Europa along with Traditional and contemporary so they have something for everyone. More and more hotels and all types of Eateries are installing Hunter ceiling fans and to see a wide selection visit the image Gallery at www.hunterfan.co.uk. What I have found is that they can not only produce a gentle cooling breeze needed in the summer but in the colder weather by just flicking a switch they work in reverse. You are thinking yes and so what. Well in reverse they actually gently push the hot air trapped at the ceiling back down. In doing so you will be able to turn your thermostat down and in doing so save you up to 24% of your energy costs

They are energy efficient and cost saving as well which you can see on the Energy Efficiency page on the site. My advice whether you are the owner of a hotel, restaurant or even and office or home get a ceiling fan because it will be the best investment you will ever make.

I have found over the last few years that when I am watching any american shows on the television all of the homes and shops have ceiling fans which all look to be Hunter. As I do a lot of travelling I have found that Hunter Fan as a brand is really well known worldwide. Recently my husband and I decided to refurbish our house and agreed we wanted ceiling fans. The decision on what rooms was an easy one. We went for the living room, bedrooms and conservatory. I even pushed for an outdoor fan for my patio. The next step was to visit the <a href="http://www.hunterfan.co.uk" title="The Hunter Fan Co" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">hunter fan</a> company website and we were so happy with what we found we didn't need to look anywhere else. We looked at the many different models and styles and compiled a list of which we then added what accessories we needed and for where. Once we had our list of fans, lights and controls we called and spoke to the Technical Lead who was very thorough in his help. He made sure we got the right size fan for each room and helped advice about the order as a whole.
We placed our large order with him and were really surprised when it all turned up the next day exactly as we ordered. We now have a really fantastic looking home which affords us the comfort we wanted whether it is hot or cold out our house is great. Thank you all at Hunter Fan for making us feel special and without any problems at all.

Hunter Ceiling Fans
I found just what I was looking for when I found the <a href="http://www.hunterfan.co.uk" title="The Hunter Fan Company Ltd" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">Hunter Fan Company</a> website. A lot of choices and the Fan Finder really helped. I put in the style and finish I wanted and it came up with a selection for me. Then I looked at the fans offered and fouind the one I wanted. It was everything I needed in one pack. I ordered the Carera bundle so I got the fan with a light and a remote control. I ordered and it was delivered the next day to my amazement. When I got the electrician in to install he commented it was one of the best he had seen and took down the url of the Hunter Fan Company site for future use. I am really impressed with the quality and as they stated silent running.

I did a lot of research before I bought my Hunter Seville Fan. I got advise from lots of people that have fans and from Hunter staff. I made my purchase recently and also bought a scavo bowl light kit and remote control. I have had it installed and really do appreciate that Hunter are really the best. No annoying hums or wobbles at all which I wasnt sure of. I am kind of keen for winter to get here so I can try the reverse function as well and save some money.
